Douglas R. Miller, CIC, CPIA –
President & Agency Principal
Doug is the President & Principal of Miller & Miller Insurance Agency working in the insurance business, in New Braunfels, for over 25 years. Doug holds two professional designations: CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) & CPIA (Certified Professional Insurance Agent). Doug is also licensed by the State of Texas, as a Risk Manager. Doug’s expertise extends beyond property & casualty insurance into life, health & retirement programs. He is active in several professional organizations & is past national president of the Society of Certified Professional Insurance Agents.
Doug is very active in civic affairs, including President of Wurstfest (2004), President of the NBISD Education Foundation, & is past President of the Comal County United Way, Comal County Fair, past Chairman of the Board of the Greater New Braunfels Chamber of Commerce, & former Mayor of New Braunfels. Doug is a member of the New Braunfels Downtown Rotary & holds the elected seat for Guadalupe & Comal Counties on the Edwards Aquifer Authority Board. Doug is currently seeking election to the Texas State House of Representatives.
Anne Miller -
Customer Relations Director
Anne Louise Mund Miller was born & raised in New Braunfels with direct involvment in Miller & Miller for the past eight years. She holds a property & casualty insurance license from the State of Texas. Anne graduated with a Bachelors Degree from Southwest Texas State University, spending a number of years working in several small businesses in the New Braunfels area before joining the agency.
Anne is involved in the day-to-day operations of the agency. She is responsible for customer relations, the social welfare of the agency & the purchasing of daily operating supplies. Anne is also involved in the employee evaluation program.
Anne is also very active in social & civic affairs. Anne served six years on the New Braunfels ISD school board, currently serving on the NBISD Education Foundation Board. Anne is a Blue Coat & Life Member in the New Braunfels Chamber of Commerce.
Douglas R. Miller II, CLCS -
Sales Associate & Commercial Lines Team Leader
Douglas Miller II is the son of Doug & Anne. He holds a Bachelors Degree from Angelo State University. Douglas was born & raised in New Braunfels & has grown-up in the family insurance Business. He holds a professional designation: CLCS (Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist). Douglas is also a graduate of The Hartford School of Insurance. He is a member of the New Braunfels Rotary Club & of the New Braunfels Chamber of Commerce. Douglas works hard everyday to help professionals and business owners with coverage such as general liability, property, workers compensation, builders risk, etc.
Pat Timmermann, ACSR –
Personal Lines Team Leader
Pat started her insurance career with Miller & Miller in 1997. She has worked in customer sales & service for the past 20 years. Pat is team leader for the personal lines department where she can help with insurance on your home, auto, umbrella, valuable items, boat, motorcycle or jet skis.
Jennifer Carr –
Life & Health Team Leader
Jennifer came to the Miller & Miller team in 2006 bringing with her 15 years of customer service experience. Jennifer’s focus is on service for all of Miller & Miller's life & health clients, while providing sales support, leadership & marketing for the department.
Jessica Rosas –
Service Supervisor & IT
Jessica started her insurance career with Miller & Miller in 1998. In the past, she has worked with the non-standard auto customers & accounting. She now supervises the Seguin & the Universal City offices. Jessica is also responsible for all Agency IT.
Jerry Stringer -
Sales Associate
Jerry brings with him 30 years of experience in the life insurance business to Miller & Miller. During this time, Jerry has been a successful agent specializing in estate & business continuation planning. He has owned his own agency, as well as, serving as a marketing Vice-President in 2 home offices. Additionally, he is in the process of completing his CLU (Charted Life Underwriter) designation. Jerry is also very active in the New Braunfels community, both in his church and with Habitat for Humanity.
