Team History

Miller & Miller Insurance Agency was founded in 1984 by Doug Miller and a partner.  In 2000, Doug and Anne bought out that partner’s interest and began operations as Miller & Miller Insurance Agency.  They now have four locations: New Braunfels, Universal City, Seguin, and Uvalde.  It also shares offices with KDJ Insurance Agency in Marion and Schertz.

Miller & Miller has 26 employees in four insurance departments including commercial, personal, life & health and monthly auto services.  Miller & Miller is an independent agent writing business only in Texas.

Why an Independent Agent?

There is a difference in where you buy your protection. Many people don't realize there are three sources for insurance:

1. Captive Agents, who can sell you the insurance of only one company.
2. Telephone Representatives, who can offer you the insurance of one company, and only on the telephone.
